As sad as it sounds it's time to leave Venice. We had a great time here!

When you are in Venice for the first time, you know you just have to walk the streets at night. And it is not scary at all! I don't know what is the crime situation around here, but I'm pretty sure it is almost the safest place on Earth.

 

When in Venice you MUST go to Murano and Burano islands, because they are just as beautiful as Venice.

If you are tired of noisy touristic Venice, you can find peace and quiet on the neighboring island Lido. Lido means "beach". Therefore the official name of the long, narrow island that separates the Venetian lagoon from the sea - Lido di Venezia. That is our destination!

Venice welcomed us with heavy rain in the night. Luckily the rain stopped in the morning. Therefore acquaintance with the the beautiful Venice can be considered successful.
