When in Venice you MUST go to Murano and Burano islands, because they are just as beautiful as Venice.

Murano is famous for its glass making. I'm sure you all have heard of Murano glass. You can find almost everything made of it. I am a huge fan of Beatles and I was thrilled to find their murano glass copy.
Murano, like Venice, is a series of islands linked by bridges in the Venetian Lagoon. So sometimes it seems that you've never left Venice.
The Venice map we received at the hotel had a small map of Murano, but it appeared to be useless. Seriously, we got lost on that small island a few times. But it is a nice place to be lost in.
And this is how they create that glass. You can try too :)
Unfortunately, that day we were not able to visit Burano island, so we'll go there next time. Good night everyone, I am off to bed.
